The Cost Control team is part of the Estimating and Cost Control Department. Cost Controllers are part of the project team by working together with the project managers. They will consult and assist the project manager on the cost status of each project and how to optimize and improve the budgeted profits. On a monthly basis, they prepare the Project Management Report (PMR). This is done by consolidating all the relevant information required (costs, hours, planning, risk analysis, quality/efficiency, financial status (invoicing, hedging/treasury, cash flow) etc) by interacting with the project team.

Various tasks will include:

Establish the project budget/forecast based on handover bid from Estimating/Proposal Department
Updates of changes to the forecast based on inputs from project management and other project team members as applicable
Prepare and maintain various documents and reports such as change orders and registers, procurement hardware budgets
Prepare monthly invoices to Client and follow up works (including reimbursable items)
Approve standard commitment control and vendor/subcontractors invoice
Prepare of project specific analysis, and close-out information with a view towards improving feedback data and estimation tools on future contracts / proposals
Support Cost Control team to implement an Oracle ERP Cloud solution by January 1st

About you :

You'll have a Master's degree with qualification in technical or engineering studies. You will have ideally a first experience with working in a technical environment within the energy industry.

Your English communication skills are excellent both in speaking as well as in writing.

Your interpersonal skills allow you to interact with people at different levels within the organization and make you a valued part of the team.

You have strong analytical skills and are able to work under pressure but more importantly you're able to meet deadlines and make important decisions whilst being under pressure. You have advanced knowledge of Excel (knowledge of Power BI is desirable).
