We are looking for a V.I.E. to join the Credit Portfolio Management (CPM) team. The department manages the GLBA's loan book (Global Banking and Advisory) across the three regions (EMEA, AMER and APAC). Its objective is to enhance stewardship of capital through capital optimization and disciplined portfolio management, in order to increase balance sheet velocity and to implement a capital light model. The V.I.E. will be working for CPM/COR in Madrid, team in charge of the management of the corporate and leverage lending book in Spain and Portugal. CPM/COR Madrid also centralizes the credit analysis of corporate clients in these countries. The future candidate will be in charge of the credit analysis of a portfolio of MNCs (local subsidiaries of multinational companies) under the supervision of a senior credit analyst. Main responsibilities will include: - liaise with several BLs for the management of credit exposures with clients of such portfolio - maintain an open dialogue with the SG Branches responsible for the global relationship of these multinational clients - provide support to senior team members in the credit analysis of Spanish and Portuguese corporates - familiarize with the Bank's internal tools to assist CPM Madrid in our reporting and monitoring obligations Taking into consideration the above, the V.I.E.'s main responsibility is to learn and grow professionally and personally. The stronger the learning curve, the bigger the responsibilities will be given to him/her. Due to the VIE eligibility criteria a questionnaire will be provided. Candidate Requirements:
Studies & experience: * Graduate with a Master's degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Business, Finance or Engineering * A previous experience in credit analysis or portfolio management would be appreciated Language skills: * Fluent in English and in Spanish (B2-C1) Technical, operational & Soft skills: * Proficient/Good command of MS Office * Good communication and presentation skills
