The energy team, based in Madrid, is responsible for defining and deploying energy purchasing strategies in line with the Group's climate ambitions. It is also responsible for monitoring and ensuring the proper application of related regulations, and for lobbying the authorities to protect (COMPANY NAME)'s interests.
Energy markets in France are evolving rapidly, driven by current geopolitical and climatic issues. In this context, (COMPANY NAME) has made strong commitments to reduce its CO2 emissions, which are reflected in a growing number of energy transition projects, with new characterics and complexity: management of intermittent renewable sourcing of electrolysers, flows linked to CO2 capture, PPA contracts, renewable attributes of products....

The team based in Spain works in close collaboration with the French energy team and the South West Europe (SWE) Smart and Innovative Operations department. It is also strongly connected with the business development and finance teams.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The mission is to provide support to the French and Spanish energy team on all their perimeter: (energy purchases, energy clauses in industrial gas sales contracts, energy regulation,...) and for several commodities: natural gas, CO2 allocation and electricity.
At first the mission will focus in particular on natural gas and CO2 emissions management, with punctual missions on electricity.
You will contribute in particular to this mission by…
* Computing and Providing energy data during monthly financial closing
* Optimizing data management tools
* Managing exchanges with public authorities in the context of subsidies application or legal obligation
* Performing energy data analysis for strategic business development perspectives
* Investigate soon-to-be European regulations related to the energy transition
* Supporting the negotiation of energy purchase contracts

Are you a MATCH?
Education:
* Master's Degree in Engineering of Business
* Specialization or experience in Energy is a plus
Soft and Hard Skills:
* Autonomy
* Good communication skills (high degree of exchanges with multiple nationality and multiple ecosystems: customers, public authorities, finance, operations, etc…)
Languages:
* English fluency is Must have
* French fluency is nice to have
