The activity of Vallourec in the Middle East has been growing significantly since 2018 driven by the growth of key oil & gas operators such as Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, QP and KOC and International Oil Companies.
Vallourec needs to enhance its level of proximity with the market and be able to enhance the analysis of market opportunities (country, applications, projects, accounts, etc),. The threat of local suppliers is becoming more and more important.
Vallourec is also keen on developing synergies between all the product lines and activities present in the Middle East (OCTG, ACCESSORIES, PROCESS, PROJECT LINE PIPES, SERVICES), so as to leverage the strengths of one another in front of the clients. .
Poste et missions:
The Middle East Marketing Analyst for Oil and Gas products is primarily responsible of marketing and for the Oil and Gas in the Middle East and coordination / support with HQ (Product Line, Commercial Excellence…) to follow the Middle East activity
He/She contributes to the achievement of the Marketing & Sales plan and he/she provides key sales support function such as activity planning (S&OP), commercial reporting, implementation and deployment of the Group marketing tools such as CORUM CRM.
He/She is finally responsible to implement marketing and communication synergies at the Middle East level (seminars, exhibitions like ADIPEC, articles).
* Marketing and sales plans :
In collaboration with Sales Managers, he/she will participate in the elaboration of marketing and sales plans, including:
-External analysis: market organization, market segmentation, market shares, competition, OT analysis, influences, KSF, market forecasts…
-Internal analysis: Evolution of sales per segment, sales forecasts, SW analysis, identification of competitive advantages
-Diagnostic: Comparison of both analysis and define what should be our positioning
-Recommendations: Short, mid and long term recommendations
He/She will regularly update the specific sales actions plans derived from these marketing plans (through the TQM). For Key Account Marketing plan, he/she will work with the Key Account Managers
* Sales support :
He/She will be responsible for the activity planning within the budget process (including revisions) and the weekly + monthly reporting
* Follow up of the competition :
He/She will be responsible to monitor the development of the local competition and update a competition database.
* Support to division at HQ level
He/She will be responsible to coordinate / analyse customer satisfaction surveys, in the Middle East and to provide support to HQ for specific projects related to the Middle East.
* Market analysis and forecast
He/She is in charge of the follow up of all market data of the region (volume, market share, product mix, price, ...)
He/She is in charge of the detailed 5-year forecast (Business Plan) of market volumes and Vallourec sales in the Middle East segmented by country, product type…etc
He/She is in charge of the definition and the implementation of the communication actions (participation to exhibition, advertising campaign, customer events...) in the region, for cross product line actions, and for HQ corporate.
Experience of marketing in a multinational environment
Marketing experience of 2 to 4 years
Experience of Oil & Gas sector
Strong analytical skills
Strong flexibility and curiosity
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Excellent English language skill
Necessary: Business Administration Bachelor or Master
Wished: Bachelor degree in Engineering
