The EMEA Data Centre Operations General Manager is looking for an experienced Program Manager with a strong track record of organizational change, people development and leadership skills to help shape and mobilize the growth strategy for the EMEA DC Operations function. The focus will be on working with the GM and the DC Ops leadership team and colleagues across (COMPANY NAME) to ensure the wider DC Operations teams are positioned to meet not only our growth objectives but that all our colleagues have the chance to thrive and develop within a best in class framework.

This role will be responsible for the design, delivery and mobilization of key initiatives supporting the growth of the organization and development of talent across the EMEA DCOps team. They will work closely with the DCOPs leadership team to identify and fill development needs; create alternative talent pipelines and evaluate and influence all aspects of professional development for DCOps working in close collaboration with key partners within HR and GTA.

This is a significant role in terms of scope, responsibility, influence and also potential personal growth - it will be an opportunity to work with a diverse and senior network of stakeholders across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Exceptional people development and organizational skills are defining attributes. Planning and problem solving are a pre-requisite, in addition to ability to manage diverse stakeholders; internal to DC Operations, across the wider (COMPANY NAME) organization and external to the company.

Key responsibilities of the role:
* Support the scoping, design and implementation of talent development initiatives as part of a multi-year EMEA Data Centre scale up roadmap, working closely with the Leadership Team and all key stakeholders, to ensure that outcomes match objectives, are executable and have clear delivery plans that can be tracked and monitored with tangible KPIs
* Developing alternate pipelines of talent to supplement our Group Talent pipeline including connections to external training and educational establishments across EMEA, mentoring and apprenticeships programs and partnerships with external providers
* Partner with the Leadership Team members and key stakeholders to successfully launch and embed strategic delivery initiatives relating to the scale up plans of Data Centre Operations
* Work with MS business partners (GTA, HR, Finance Marketing etc ) to ensure smooth delivery of strategic initiatives, incorporating all governance (reporting, escalation, decisioning etc.), issue management and solutioning activities across the wider (COMPANY NAME) ecosystem
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and growth mindset by providing thought leadership to and influencing change at all levels in the organization
* Working with EMEA DCOps leadership team and the wider (COMPANY NAME) business partner teams to ensure the (COMPANY NAME) Diversity and Inclusion objectives are mobilized in a tangible and visible way across all DC Ops EMEA locations.
* Work with the Director of Strategy on a day-to-day basis to support the overarching strategic development of the region, deputize as required in key engagements, conduct research or audits, and support the flow of communications to ensure that strategy management is functioning for the benefit of all stakeholders

Candidate Requirements:

Required Qualification:
* Bachelors degree in business administration, management, or a related field - A must
* Proven experience in professional development programs, strategic growth plans, or a similar leadership role working at C-suite level (preferably in a technical or engineering-based industry) - A must
* Experience driving complex business change programs, demonstrating excellent prioritization, project management and co-ordination skills - A must
* Experience of a matrix based organization with demonstrable examples of partnering with cross functional support team and a proven ability to influence peers in supporting functions and senior leaders in own and adjacent functions - A must
* Excellent business acumen, and a comprehensive understanding of organizational design, staff development and diversity and inclusion objectives
* Awareness of and empathy to the cultural diversification and influence factors spanning the region, and the ability to influence and navigate the cultural fabric of EMEA organization
* Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to maintain a high-level view of the desired business and stakeholder outcomes, with the experience to anticipate risks and plan mitigating actions.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
* Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Be open to adopting flexible working arrangements, noting some dexterity may be required from time to time to accommodate the DC Operations leadership evolving priorities.
