Job Description:

Work Environment

- Central corporate controlling and steering of the entire (COMPANY NAME) Group
- Financial planning, target setting and performance measurement to secure a sustainable financial performance of the (COMPANY NAME) Group
- Direct support to the Board of Management, the Supervisory Board as well as the VW Group stakeholders through top notch analysis and depiction of the company financials
- Business intelligence/ analytics with 360° analysis deriving recommendations to act concerning all (COMPANY NAME) Group Divisions (products and services) and strategic potential profit pools
- Combining controlling area/tasks with modern IT Tool applications/ analytics



Job Purpose/Role

- You will complete a first project within your target field of corporate financial planning of (COMPANY NAME) Group
- In course of the program you will work independently on up to four more projects in various divisions of the company, one of them at a VW Group brand abroad. Throughout these assignments you will get to know process partners and interfaces for your future position.
- In addition you will complete short modules in different areas of the company (e. g. assembly)
- You will engage in various working groups within the Graduate Trainee Community
- After completing the program, you will take on your position in the target field of corporate financial planning of (COMPANY NAME) Group as a Strategic financial Business Analyst

Candidate Requirements:

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

- University degree from an accredited university in corporate finance, business mathematics/IT, business administration (focus digital economy and finance) or management studies with focus digital technologies
- Outstanding academic performance
- Advanced understanding of Controlling tasks and processes within multinational companies
- Data analytics as well as state of the art BI-Tools (data visualization/story telling) such as Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, Planning Analytics are familiar to you
- First experience with basic coding e.g. Python, R
- Minimum of three months of international experience during your academic program through internships or a semester abroad
- Practical experience of at least six months through relevant internships
- Fluent English (as well as knowledge of another language if English is your native language, preferably German)
- Relevant extra-curricular commitment
