To qualify for this internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
* Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program (Business, Marketing or a related field.)
* Rising Sophomore and above required (30 Credits or more)
* Available to work onsite a minimum of 3 days a week.

* Program Dates: June - Aug (10 weeks)
* Full-time Los Angeles based role.

* Submit a one-page resume that outlines your work experience, education, accomplishments, your graduation month /year and major.

* Design Roles: Submit an updated portfolio with password. PDF format preferred.

Job Description:

* Support Global Communications team in their seasonal outreach efforts (Back to School, Halloween, Holiday)
* Work across NBCU and Parks internal teams to secure information and assets to develop product fact sheets and pitches each season
* Partner with external PR agency to develop and manage press lists and pitching
* Daily monitoring and compiling of press clips that feature our properties and products
* Start product sample request process and manage inventory/shipments with external product warehouse
* Support various product launches, partnering with cross-NBCU teams (theatrical, DreamWorks, Parks, etc)
* Jurassic World: Chaos Theory

* Funko Fusion
* Universal Orlando Summer Parade + Tribute Store
* Universal Orlando + Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights
* Maintain and update team Road Map + Calendar of Activity to help keep the team on track


* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a comparable PR/communications role for a multi-national, creative, media or communications agency or in-house at an entertainment or CPG company or retailer.
* Experience writing for an external audience (e.g. press releases, fact sheets, blog posts, newsletters).
* Ability to translate complex concepts into simple, comprehensive, engaging content and stories.
* Experience creating/managing press + influencer lists (press/influencer outreach experience is a bonus).
* Experience owning multiple deliverables and working in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Candidates should be meticulous and highly motivated, with the ability to think strategically, adapt quickly and work well independently as well as within a team.
* Excellent writing skills are essential; some experience in presentation deck building and graphic design (e.g. Keynote, Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator) is a bonus.
* You are a no-friction team member and work collaboratively with teammates and peers across departments to deliver the best quality work.

Additional Requirements:
* Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
Salary: $20/hour
