This internship is located in the French Translation and Text Processing Section (FTTS) of the Conference Management Service (CMS), Division for Management (DM), (COMPANY NAME) Office at Vienna (UNOV), and is for two months between 3 February and 27 March 2020.
The internship is UNPAID and full-time. The intern will work five days per week (40 hours) under the supervision of the Chief of Section and the Terminology Focal Point.

The Intern will be responsible for the following duties:
* contributing to the cleaning of terminology records in UNTERM;
* helping to integrate, in UNTERM or in eLuna, glossaries that were established by FTTS in various work areas, e.g. on commercial law, criminal law, space sciences, nuclear sciences, postal services and drugs;
* performing terminology research in support of specific translation projects;
* performing other tasks, as requested by the French Terminology Focal Point.

To qualify for an internship with the (COMPANY NAME) Internship Programme, the following conditions must be met:
*Applicants must be studying for a Master's degree in Translation in a French language university or translation school.
*Applicants must have a demonstrated keen interest in the work of the (COMPANY NAME) and have a personal commitment to the ideals of the Charter; and

Applicants are not required to have professional work experience for participation in the Programme. However, they may wish to list any relevant work experience in their Personal History Profile.
Fluency in spoken and written French, which should be the candidate's main language of education and target language of the Translation Diploma, as well as in English, which should be the source language of the Translation Diploma, is required. Knowledge of another (COMPANY NAME) official language would be an asset.
Candidates will be assessed based on their Personal History Profile (PHP). Individual interviews and/or tests may be conducted for further assessment.
