Job Description Summary:
Internship - Nutrition from Plants

Introduction:
As a business, The Coca-Cola Company is constantly evolving - we develop new products, acquire great brands and pioneer new ways of doing things. We sell four of the world's top five non-alcoholic sparkling drinks and 3,600+ products in over 200 countries, including water, juices, energy drinks, and even tea and coffee.

We are taking deliberate action to nurture an inclusive culture that is grounded in our company purpose, to refresh the world and make a difference. We act with a growth mindset, take an expansive approach to what's possible and believe in continuous learning to improve our business and ourselves. We focus on four key behaviors - curious, empowered, inclusive and agile - and value how we work as much as what we achieve. We believe that our culture is one of the reasons our company continues to thrive after 130+ years. Visit Our Purpose and Vision to learn more about these behaviors and how you can bring them to life during your internship at The Coca-Cola Company.

Applying for an internship in The Coca-Cola Company is an opportunity to be a part of something that can positively impact the world. We're accelerating our momentum to become a Total Beverage Company by putting people at the heart of our business and everything we do - innovating to give people the drinks and package sizes they want, building our eCommerce capabilities, working towards our vision of a World Without Waste, and more.

What You'll Do for Us:
One of the main gaps in the plant-based beverage category is nutrition beyond soy. The intern will understand and learn about how we can use the nutrients (protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals, etc.) naturally present in the plant sources (excluding soy) in final application (plant-based drinks). Which nutrients can be extracted from the plants that we can use in our final products? How does stability of the final product behave? How we can combine different plant sources to deliver an optimum nutrition to consumers?

We need a student that can easily interact with universities, research centers and suppliers to leverage their studies in our project. With scientific lenses, we will be able to discover new nutrition plant sources that will enable us to have a competitive edge in the market.

Key responsibilities:
· Conduct literature research and document the findings in a well-organized way
· Collaborate with internal teams (technical consumer research, product development, pilot-plant, stability, analytical) and external partners (universities, research centers, startups, suppliers) to leverage their work and capabilities for the project
· Order ingredients to conduct lab trials
· Support in the development of prototypes at lab scale
· Measure analytical properties of prototypes
· Participate in sensory sessions to evaluate the prototypes
· Record the learnings in database
· Communicate your conclusions & solutions to the broader team

Skills & Qualifications:
· Bachelor or master's degree (depending on the experience) in food science, biochemistry, or relative field
· Knowledge and working experience of analytical instruments (pH, dry matter, viscosity, etc.)
· Fast learner and able to work autonomously in a multicultural environment
· Fluent in English
· Effective communication and project management skills
· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data management

We welcome people of all different backgrounds, experiences, abilities, and perspectives to apply.
