Denmark has set an ambitious and radical goal - to upgrading the totality of its mainline network. (COMPANY NAME) is there to set their ambition to life and has started the implementation of the state-of-the-art ERTMS level 2 baseline 3 signalling technology, to the trackside and onboard the fleets. This technology is stable and secure, and it will drastically improve the passenger experience by reducing the number of delays and increasing transport capacity.

We are now looking for an ambitious Mechanical Design Intern to be part of strong team, and to take on big and exciting challenges. You will report directly Mechanical Domain Leader and the role is based in Copenhagen.

The intern will work with the designers on the Swedish projects & Trackside deployments, you will assist in 3D design tasks, to upload the data in the PLM system, and also in continuous improvement tasks (3D scanner development, material specifications).

The position is for 6-8 months.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

* Perform survey on site (inside the train, or on the track) and define the technical solution for the mechanical part,

* Design the 3D concept and the manufacturing drawings,

* Ensure the respect of all the mechanical design rules (sheet metal, welding, riveting).

* Support the mechanical installation during the train fitment on site.

Skills and education:

* Engineering school / university, specialization or oriented in mechanical design

* Knowledge of railways is an asset

* Knowledge of INVENTOR is an asset.

* Writing skills; clarity, rigor, and concision

* English, minimum FCE / B2

* Danish language is an asset
