Intern in communication and project management
Moonleaks.com is a social enterprise, which aims to become a collaborative production platform where thousands of people get together to create audio-visual materials that will help preserve nature and protect its creatures. It is a space that will raise funds, co-produce and showcase the creative expression of artists, projects, and groups that have environmentalism at the heart of their works.
We´re looking for someone in communication; a good writer in English, keen on helping us research, fundraise and address the creative minds that are working for environmentalism and animal welfare. We will be interviewing experts from a varied set of fields, and we would like your help to put that knowledge into articles, podcasts and films. We will be also applying for funds for which a sharp practical oriented mind is always welcomed. As a bonus and if possible, we would love for you to have a taste in project management; as good communication with the projects we work with is key for our success.
As for content, we just premiered our first in-house production that has been seen in 45 countries in less than two months, a documentary about the Spanish hunting dogs called “Yo Galgo”. The film has been the culmination of a five-year long project that touched and informed thousands of people, met with policy makers and participated in very successful campaigns and petitions for the rights of animals. We hope to create a closed loop system in which the profits of these films are put into making more pieces that will help nature.
We believe in the use of the creative exchange as a tool for development and empowerment. Our approach to filmmaking is in partnerships with local projects, donors and an online community, so there is a mix of NGO kind of work and that of a film production company in what we do.
We are looking for interns with whom to build what comes next in our office at Nørrebro. Minimum qualifications:
· Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, and in your penultimate or last year of study.
· Available for a three to five months internship in 2019 with the ability to join from March 2019.
