Job Description
You are joining our sustainability research team, which is looking for a ESG Analyst, for an internship of 6 months from January 2026.
The team is responsible for advising fund managers on environmental, social and governance (ESG) themes. This extra-financial information complements traditional financial analysis to inform investment decisions.
The position specifically aims to support Mirova's teams investing in unlisted assets: energy transition infrastructures, private equity focused on environmental transition technologies, natural capital projects and enterprises of the social and solidarity economy.
In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:
Analyze investment opportunities from a non-financial perspective (impact and ESG);
Contribute to the preparation of investment committees;
Prepare thematic notes (on industries, geographical areas, ecosystems, sectors, etc.);
Assist in improving the team's work tools (analysis structures, deliverable formats, computer database, Excel reporting formats, etc.).
The intern will interact with internal (research team and portfolio management team) and external (companies and other stakeholders) contacts.
