What's the role?
With your first knowledge of mechanical drive development and its mechanical development (including production-oriented design), you will accompany the complete project process from the initial specification to series production readiness.

Possibility to work less than 40 hrs./week.

What does the role involve?

The focus is on the mechanical development (production-oriented design, simulation and documentation) of new components or modular assemblies in the task area of mechanical drive development. The focus is on the implementation of the powertrain in Powertools and in cooperation with internal and external partners you are responsible for the technical solution concepts. To ensure that targets are met, the supervision of the production of test samples is also in your hands. You will ensure that brushless motors comply with internal and external standards and regulations and support technical risk management.
In an interdisciplinary development team, you will contribute your expertise and knowledge and, as a driving force, implement your own ideas for forward-looking innovation.
Your tasks will give you the opportunity to show and develop your skills. After a few years, a wide range of further development opportunities will be available.

What you need is:

* Initial experience in the area of construction, simulation or design of electrical machines - preferably also in form of internships
* Completed studies in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or related disciplines
* Confident handling of 3D-CAD systems
* Good basic knowledge of electrical drives and their design desirable
* Very good knowledge of English
* First knowledge in the field of systematic development methods and the relevant tools
* Strong analytical and conceptual skills and high goal-oriented working style
* Team player with very good communication skills in an interdisciplinary and international environment
