Gigafactory Engineering is looking for an innovative intern to join our Process Design team in Gigafactory Berlin. The process design team drives to create the factory of the future by bringing conceptual designs to life, producing cutting-edge detailed design of chemical and utility systems that are fully integrated with manufacturing processes.

* Support engineers in back-office tasks, especially on internal documentation
* Develop new documents, based on US documents to fit German standards
* Support on designs including
* Put into practice your Revit skills by developing 3D libraries
* Improve and test existing tool Pallets for AutoCAD
* Contribute with P&IDs and 3D pipe design development and improvement
* Create layout overviews of existing designs
* Specification development including equipment, piping and valve selection and sizing, material compatibility analysis, etc.
* Close cooperation with BIM team

Candidate Requirements:

* Pursuing a degree in chemical, process, mechanical, environmental engineering, or similar
* Familiar with process piping systems, like compressed air, handling industrial gases, waste and pure water treatment and distribution or HVAC systems
* Ability to adapt to fast pace working environment, distill, document, and manage scope effectively to accelerate dynamic projects
* Base knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit MEP
* Ability to take over the ownership and responsibility of a subject and to follow up multiple issues
* Ability to communicate clearly and interface at an executive level in English, German knowledge is nice to have
* Ability to work independently, taking over ownership of the scopes
* Profound knowledge of MS office
