By taking a completely new approach to autonomous driving, (COMPANY NAME) aims to launch the first driverless fleet on European public streets.

Our international, diverse, and fun team combines the best of two worlds - software and product experience from Silicon Valley and automotive hardware & safety engineering from Europe. We have our eyes set on becoming a leading autonomous driving company and bringing Europe back to the forefront of the race to develop driverless vehicles which will solve many of today's transportation challenges, including air pollution, traffic jams, and traffic-related deaths, high costs of transportation and long commutes.

This internship will give you a deep insight into project management as well into planning at different project levels. In addition, you will get to know the different project phases of new product development and have the opportunity to actively work on setting-up new product development processes and help shaping them. You will work very closely with our (COMPANY NAME) co-founder and our Engineering Program Managers, showing your skills and taking responsibility in our team. Preparation of strategic presentations, documentation and reports will also be part of your tasks. You will be expected to recommend and implement process improvements and innovations for administrative processes associated with product development teams. This position requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment and execute multiple tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and willing to adapt to changing needs.

Your Responsibilities:

* Work very close with our (COMPANY NAME) co-founder in the HW Team owning the preparation of strategic presentations, preparation of documents for decision-making at company level, preparation of reports, supporting on recruiting activities

* Accompanying project work and supporting the Engineering Program Manager Team in the conceptual planning and development of different projects definition and coordination end-to-end of specific work packages

* Organization and participation in cross-divisional project meetings and workshops

* Creation and coordination of project schedules

* Support the development, set-up and implementation of new required processes in the field of Product Development and Quality Management incl. tooling

* Own other activities e.g. market analysis, research of components, research of legal requirements on specific fields

The Profile:

* You are in your studies (mechanical/electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or similar) and can commit at least 4 months (ideally 6 months) to an internship

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; self-motivation and the ability to work as part of a team

* High sense of responsibility and quality orientation, also and especially high attention to detail

* You are 'hands on' and you have a 'can do attitude'

* Proficient use of Tools for documentation (slides and spreadsheets)

* Results oriented and highly accurate working style, with the ability to work under pressure whilst meeting deadlines

Nice to have:

* Proven Team working skills, as part of previous internship or extracurricular experience, e.g. student projects

* Experience in consulting or project management

* Experience in the automotive industry and interest in deep-tech products for mobility
