Internship in Deep Learning & Generative Models for Computer vision (m/f/d)

The Decision Science unit at (COMPANY NAME) Pharmaceutical is a one stop shop for all enterprise advanced analytics projects. We work across all functions in (COMPANY NAME) from R&D to radiology to marketing & sales to product supply. The applications are wide and range from generic Machine Learning to Computer Vision and NLP. We solve hard analytical problems and build solutions with the mission to improve the overall efficiency and decision making in the company. We have open Internship Computer Vision for Radiology, and this is what we are looking for:

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Support in development of deep generative models for medical imaging in the oncology space

* Conceptualization, implementation, and validation of algorithms

* Working closely supervision of a senior member of the team

* Publish your work in peer-reviewed conferences

WHO YOU ARE

* Pursuing a Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Applied Mathematics or Physics

* Profound knowledge in Pytorch or Tensorflow framework is essential

* Excellent Python programming skills

* Basic knowledge of working with medical images (e.g. MRI, CT, histopathology imaging) is a plus

* Basic knowledge of working in Cloud environment (e.g. GCP, AWS)

* Prior knowledge and experience with generative models (e.g. GANs, VAEs, Stable Diffusion Models) is a highly desirable

* Fluent in English; both written and spoken

This full-time position is a 6 month fixed term internship with the option for additional 6 month master thesis position. For this position it is possible to work remotely.
