The new Maintenance Go-To-Market organization has been established to ensure the continuous success of (COMPANY NAME)'s maintenance business, communicate in one voice to our customers, user groups, partners and influencers, and further develop and enhance our maintenance and support offerings.

This Role as Customer Engagement Associate, in alignment with internal roles, is responsible for the following tasks regarding (COMPANY NAME) support offerings.

This role is responsible for the following topics of (COMPANY NAME) maintenance and support business:

* Foster joint customer activities and support deal negotiation by providing value-based content, strength of SAPs support portfolio as well as SAPs Maintenance and Extension policies details

* Management and enforcement of Maintenance at Risk "MAR" topics take lead or strongly contribute in reduction scenarios to safeguard maintenance revenue

* Identification of win-back potentials, driving the win-back sales cycles in joint approach with account teams and support cash collection teams in critical overdue situations

* Avoid third-party support vendor entering our customer base

* Customer post-sales activities to help customers to get maximum business value on SAPs solution and services portfolio

* Ensure compliance in SAPs Maintenance business while approving deals along our policies

* Provide guidance to the software and cloud sales force, delivery teams and enable them on support related topics

* Reporting to the Head of MGTM D / CH


* Demonstration of in-depth knowledge and application of Maintenance program strategy, development and deployment to educate and enable FieldPost-Sales Support regarding maintenance contracts and policies for Maintenance Sales Manager and Account Executives

* Direct interaction with AEs, sales management and indirect sales to position the value of (COMPANY NAME)'s Maintenance Solutions and to provide guidance to the Field as well as to Support Delivery teams to enable them on support related topics

* Support deal negotiation, execution and exceptional approval processes as needed by providing value based content, arguments on SAPs support portfolio as well as SAPs Maintenance and Extension policies

* Management and enforcement of Maintenance at Risk "MAR" cases to safeguard maintenance revenue, identification of win-back potentials

* MAR case support (Maintenance at Risk) by monitoring and frequent reporting of cases to management, and keep CRM accurate and in sync to contract system ISP

* Identify additional local key initiatives to maximize maintenance revenue and minimize maintenance base erosion

* Ensure maximum compliance (Sales rules) in SAPs Maintenance business and support Deal Approvals (Quotes) along our policies

* Support internal projects, like monthly board reporting and exchange of knowledge within the team

* Perform a broad range of active and independent administrative and organizational tasks to support the Management such as complex travel bookings, supporting expense claims, shared Corporate Portal content, purchase orders, team events and administrative HR Support etc.

* Central contact person and general ad-hoc support depending on the needs of the manager and the team

* Drive incremental support revenue by upselling to (COMPANY NAME) Enterprise Support, convince customers to sign new maintenance contract (MAR Win-back), educate and enable sales on maintenance policies and strategies, and actively support software and cloud opportunities, etc.

* Support cloud deals to help customers to successfully expand towards Cloud, S/4 HANA and HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) at customer´s own pace

* Identify additional local key initiatives to maximize maintenance revenue and minimize maintenance base erosion

* Support Active Maintenance Renewals


We seek people with distinctive academic credentials, strategic thinking, superior problem-solving skills and a strong professional track record of results. * University Degree in Economics, Business Administration or comparable study paths

* Demonstrated proficiency with MS Offices Tools

* Excellent English and German language skills - written and verbal

* Interpersonal Skills: team player and proactive networking attributes

* Strong organizational and communication skills

* Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision

* Standards of performance: Strives and consistently achieves quality results, exhibits conscientiousness, dedication, self-discipline and responsibility

* Project experience and structured work attitude


* Recommended 1+ years professional work but not a must

* Practical experience during or before University

* Basic knowledge in maintenance and services skills are of advantage
