This International Tax Intern position provides a unique opportunity to experience a career in tax within an industry setting. As an intern you will play a key role in our tax compliance team and will have opportunities to collaborative with the business.

Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work towards completing?
* The primary objective of this position is to gain an understanding of tax compliance requirements and assist with ensuring tax filing deadlines and tax payments deadlines are met.
* Develop strong working relationships both within the International Tax team and with other business units.

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
As part of the (COMPANY NAME) International Tax Team you can expect a variety of the following assignments:
* You will be involved in the International Corporate tax compliance process which will include collaborating with (COMPANY NAME) Finance and our external tax advisors;
* Assist with the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and computations;
* Assist with the preparation and review of corporate payments;
* Assist with County-by-County Reporting notification filings;
* Partner with the (COMPANY NAME) Transfer Pricing team to ensure compliance with Transfer Pricing Documentation requirements;
* Prepare monthly/quarterly tax accounting deliverables to the US Tax Accounting Group, including Return to Provision calculations;
* Prepare data analytics / trend analysis for year-on-year tax liability changes and present to senior management; and
* Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to internal existing processes.

The International Tax team comprises of 14 members based outside of the US, this highly experienced team are always available to support you in your day-to-day role and assist with your professional development.
Team culture is very important to our team, we believe it is important to get to know your team members on a personal level. Even whilst working in a virtual environment during COVID we held regular social catch ups online. Our team ethos centers around trust and support.

Where is this role located?
The location of this role is flexible near Cork, Ireland. Ideally, work will be done from a (COMPANY NAME) office some days during a week.
