PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The main responsibilities will include;
* To ensure that the Quality System of the AIDD Sligo Plant is in compliance with Division and site Quality System requirements and recognised international standards.
* Conduct quality-related activities to deliver consistent, high quality documents, services, products and processes, which adds value to the business.
* Ensure EHS standards are met and all EHS Procedures and guidelines are adhered to. Foster Safety Awareness in the plant and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

* Become SME for Risk Management and co-ordinate Risk Management activities across all functions of the site.
* Become a Risk Management approver on all Risk Management File documents.
* Ensure all Risk Management Files are maintained.
* Lead appropriate Cross Function teams to review changes and their potential impact on Risk Analysis / Risk Management Reports.
* Liaise with FMEA initiators and RMP/RMR initiators to maintain Risk Management Files documentation.
* Support Instructor lead training, Verification and Assessment by becoming an Instructor, Verifier and Assessor on Risk Management Training materials.
* Familiarise and maintain own working knowledge of regulatory requirements for relevant Risk Management and ISO standards in order to ensure all on site procedures reflect current regulations.
* Promote and maintain clear and consistent view of implementation of all processes.
* Provide guidance and support to other functional areas on the relevant risk management processes and procedures.
* Create and drive Cross Functional teams mainly internally to maintain a consistent and up to date approach to risk management.
* Knowledgeable of change management process and ability to be a change initiator.
* Provide monthly reports to the Quality Engineering Manager as required on activities during the previous month.
* Complete all activities in a safe manner ensuring that any potential safety issues and areas for improvement are highlighted to Manager.
* Ensure Environmental procedures e.g. recycling, waste minimization is adhered to and improvements made where possible.
* Ability to identify and initiate when Risk Management input is required.
* Lead Cross Functional teams to maintain a consistent and up to date approach to risk management.
* Act as an enabler to ensure site and Division compliance requirements are met.

EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES:

* Apprenticeship or Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Engineering, or closely related discipline is required OR relevant combination of education or experience.
* Excellent communication, team and organizational skills required.
* Ability to use own initiative and be proactive in the management of assigned tasks to set and meet deadlines.
* Ability to work co-operatively and effectively with others to establish and maintain good working relationships.

The position may also require communication with the following:
* ​Contacts with all levels within the plant.
* Contact with external suppliers.
* Contacts with (COMPANY NAME) personnel at many levels, Division, Affiliate and other plants.
