In this role, you have the opportunity to
* Improve access to care for underserved healthcare communities and work on UN Sustainable Development Goal 3, through partnerships
* Engage and activate colleagues around the world to work on improving access to care
* Learn the latest on how international partnerships in health develop

* Collaborate with multinational companies and organisations that pledged to accelerate digital care together, collaborating in the Digital Connected Care Coalition (DCCC)
You are responsible for
* Supporting in developing & executing a strategic partnership approach in Philips, geared towards expanding access to care for underserved communities.
* Supporting the design and development of partnership tools, classification and overviews.
* Supporting in external communication of the Digital Connect Care Coalition (DCCC), including organizing external events, social media activation, maintaining communication assets.
* Supporting in ad hoc, relevant requests related to digital health (e.g. research for strategy work etc)
You are a part of
You will be part of two teams. Based out of Amsterdam, you will be working in the Access to Care (A2C) team within Group Sustainability. The international team works passionately on multidisciplinary and cross-departmental projects around the globe - ranging from digital innovation and sustainable business models to external partnership strategy and internal engagement - to reach the company's commitment of improving the lives of 400 million people in underserved healthcare communities by 2030.
You also will be part of the DCCC team, stretching beyond Philips. The DCCC aims to accelerate the digital transformation of health towards achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in low-and middle-income countries (LMIC). The DCCC is a global platform of the multi-stakeholder collaboration including public sector, private sector, funders and academia.
You will be based in Amsterdam and occasionally work at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
* Currently running your Bachelor or Master studies in studies such as Global/Public Health, Health Economics/management, (Development) Economics, Sustainable Development, Digital Technologies, or any other relevant studies, master level preferred.
* Strong research and analytical skills
* Motivated, talented, hard-working, eager, independent, hands-on young individual
* Relevant experience e.g. previous internship, (extra-)curricular projects, etc.) related to global health, partnerships and/or business
* Excellent knowledge in oral and written English

Next to that, we are offering a decent internship package:
* Monthly full-time allowance between EUR500 - EUR700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
* Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, EUR300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, EUR255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
* Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. EUR145,- net
* Paid holidays per internship term.
* The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop
Important:
Internship is not intended for graduation/research projects.
Please note that in order to be considered for an internship, you need to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation of which may be requested at any time. Students from outside the EU need to fill in an NUFFIC agreement, which needs to be signed by the student and the university.
