Our HR traineeship enables you to steer your career in a direction that suits your talent and passion. The 2 year programme allows you to discover yourself through a wide selection of (online) professional and personal skills trainings.

Your first year
Your HR trainee manager will assist you in choosing your first rotation based on your own interest and learning goals. This rotation lasts approximately six months.
As an HR trainee you work on important HR projects that have a real impact on the company and which expose you to the very latest developments within the HR discipline. You start your traineeship with a rotation to dive into HR fundamentals, such as payroll, employer branding and our collective labour agreement.
During your first rotation you also work together with fellow trainees from other tracks on a group assignment to tackle a challenge that is relevant to our business. This gives you the opportunity to expand your network within (COMPANY NAME) and practice your stakeholder management skills.
Your second rotation is in a People Analytics team. You help to extract useful insights from HR and personnel-related data using advanced analytical techniques. Those insights help HR to make an even more valuable contribution to inspiring, engaging and developing (COMPANY NAME)'s employees.
Your second year
After two rotations, you now have a better understanding of which direction you would like to go and are ready to choose your third rotation. Are you broadening your knowledge within your track, or would you like to explore a business area within another track?
During your third rotation you'll start networking for your fixed position. This permanent role lets you go deeper into the field of HR from the start. You can draw on all the experience you gained during your previous rotations, in your first permanent role.
You will become an HR business partner for a smaller business unit where you get the chance to work on your further development.
Training and Coaching
As a trainee there will be many opportunities to discover and develop yourself. Your HR trainee manager coaches you during your three rotations. For extra guidance you can reach out to your line manager or ask a senior manager to mentor you. During the second year of your traineeship you'll also benefit from a few personal sessions with an external coach.
During your traineeship, you participate in two Global Trainee events focused on professional and personal skills together with all (COMPANY NAME)'s trainees - across all tracks - from around the world. On top of this, throughout the year various virtual trainee days are organized where you'll learn about (COMPANY NAME) and work on your professional skills.

Our HR trainee
* Has a Masters degree from a university, preferably in Human Resource Management, Psychology or Law;
* Has gained experience within the HR domain either through internship or work;
* Has gained (international) experience through various extracurricular activities;
* Is interested in the financial services and banking sector, an innovative take on HR and an unconditional drive to turn ideas into reality;
* Is enthousiastic and considers the interests of our colleagues and customers alike;
* Is fluent in English.

We have a limited amount of positions for this traineeship and we will close the vacancy when the available spots are filled for 2023.
This means that if this track is filled, you will no longer be able to apply and not be considered for selection. If you want to be considered for the first selection round, around mid-April, make sure to apply on time.
We want to consider each application with care so please be aware we will inform you on the following steps not earlier than mid-April.
Please note that the results will remain definite for a future application for one of our traineeships. This means that you cannot apply again after not passing either our assessment or interview stage
