As JDE Professional, we are the B2B division of JDE. Together we bring our customers the Full Solution for all their hot drinks needs from powerhouse brands such as Jacobs, Kenco, LÓr, Pickwick and Douwe Egberts. We provide coffee for all occasions, in all categories, as well as tea, coffee machines, technical service and accessories.
Within JDE Professional, Global Supply Chain arranges the supply of coffee machines and spare parts on more than 50 countries and is the main contact for international suppliers and local Operation departments. The department is responsible for the aggregated forecast, realization of optimal availability of products, stock management, warehousing, Masterdata, introductions of new machines and continuous improvement. Global Supply Chain consists of 15 enthusiastic people.
Support the Supply Chain (Planning) team in day-to-day business by:
* Analysing daily out of stocks, and follow up with suppliers on delivery date
* Updating operational data on deliveries and products in SAP
* Solving supplier invoices
* Follow up on system inconsistencies with suppliers, the master data team or procurement
Initiate and implement improvements within Supply Process:
* By working closely with the team on operational tasks, you will find room for improvement. You will have the opportunity to work on these, and make your contribution to the Supply Chain processes.
You will do this by working closely with the team on operational tasks.
To be successful in this role you need to be enrolled at the University ( Bachelor's or Master's studies) for the whole duration of the internship. You describe yourself as a team player, who is strongly interested in Supply Chain topic and wants to develop key internal & external stakeholder management skills. As Global Supply Chain Intern we expect you to have a high ability to effectively communicate as well as influence others and be eager to take ownership and initiative- "You make it happen!''.
As you will work with data, you should be highly analytical and skilled in numerical area. We are looking for someone who is proficient in Excel and Power Point. As during your internship you will meet and work with a lot of international colleagues from around the world, you have to be fluent in English, which is our business language. Lastly, we expect you to be available for ideally 5 days per week ( 4 days can be discussed).
