EHS&S Business Analytics Internship

The Systems and Tools, Project Manager Intern will support the development of tools, analyses and planning for Tesla's Environmental Health, Safety and Security (EHS&S) Org. The intern will have a unique opportunity to improve how Tesla uses technology in an EHS&S context. A successful candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, an understanding of how to use data to achieve business outcomes, and the ability to juggle competing priorities while delivering results. This individual will work closely with members of EHS&S, data engineering and IT teams to deploy EHS&S-related systems and data-products.
An ideal candidate will have an interest in pursuing a career in Project or Product Management but also those pursuing a career in EHS&S.

* Support the deployment of various EHS&S systems and tools such as incident management, auditing and inspection, risk management, contractor safety management, emergency management and crisis response, education & training, environmental compliance and performance management through data analytics
* Identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology and/or data
* Document tool bugs and enhancements and work with IT team to prioritize, implement and deploy
* Train users on the use EHS&S systems, tools and data-products
* Promote the adoption of EHS&S systems and tools
* Support deployment and integration planning for local EHS&S and operations teams
* Collaborate and build partnerships with stakeholders, end users, education & training and IT Applications teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption of EHS systems and processes

Candidate Requirements:

* Currently enrolled preferably in a relevant field such as Business and IT, Information Science or an equivalent technical field. Students in EHS&S related fields may also be considered if they have a strong technical background
* Ability to leverage technology to solve complex problems
* Good command of English and German (both written and spoken)
* Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and oral presentation skills
* Proficient in the Microsoft suite (SharePoint, Office, Excel, Power Point, MS Project, Visio) and Analytics tools like PowerBI
