In this role, you have the opportunity to
Learn from an established team of top-notch analysts helping to reshape the Philips HealthTech, working together with the MA&F team.

You are responsible for
* Support in making and updating granular model-based market forecasts across the segments in which the Personal Health businesses operates
* Supporting in sizing new products and new business models
* Supporting to generate actionable market and competitor insights
* Supporting analysts in developing new tools to derive relevant insights from multiple retail data sources such as GfK and Nielsen
* Helping the MA&F team in creating powerful, synthesized reports to communicate the insights to MA&F stakeholders across Business Units
* Collaborating closely with MA&F analysts, Group Strategy and Business Development, Business units and global sales organizations, Marketing Insights and Analytics

You are part of
The Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions and Partnerships (SMAP) at Philips, specifically working in the MA&F team. This is the analytical powerhouse that brings the cornerstone to the Philips strategy plans impacting millions of people worldwide. The team provides fact-based market forecasts and insightful analyses to stakeholders across Philips' business sectors and geographies.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
* Studying at University level towards a master's degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, Econometrics, Data Science, Engineering, or another area associated with analytics;
* Strong analytical skills, affinity with market and competitor research
* Excellent Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills, knowledge of Power BI is a plus
* Interpersonal and communication skills
* Exhibit a high level of integrity, flexibility and creativity
* Must be enrolled as a student the entire duration of the internship

Next to that, we are offering a decent internship package:
* Monthly full-time allowance between EUR500 - EUR700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
* Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, EUR300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, EUR255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
* Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. EUR145,- net
* Paid holidays per internship term.
* The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop

Notes
Please note that in order to be considered for an internship, you need to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Students from outside the EU need to fill in an NUFFIC agreement, which needs to be signed by the student and the university.
