Office Location: Jurong
Hiring Manager: Senior Chemical Engineer
Number of internship positions: 1
Preferred Period of Internship Required: June/July to Dec 2022
Preferred Course of Intern: Bachelor in Chemical Engineering

Job Purpose
Sustainability Continuous Improvement and Capital Project Implementation.

Key Activities
Work closely with Engineers & Techncians in the following areas:
* process improvement / optimisation
* engagement with contractors / vendors for cost estimates
* investigation / root cause analysis
* participate in process design for department level projects including safety and quality reviews
* support commissioning activities / functional testing for capital projects
* support in detailed engineering design phase for Effluent Treatment Plant

Learning outcomes:
* Chemical / Process Engineer including data collection, safety review, plant commissioning, supporting routine operations.
