Job Description:

At (COMPANY NAME) we are looking for an Intern to join the Client Transactions team within our Operations (Ops) department. The internship will have an initial period of 6 months.

About the team
The Operations (Ops) Team is core to the functioning of (COMPANY NAME) - it is at the centre of daily FX trading and payment operations, as well as client transactional support interactions.

FX Client Transactions (Ops) mission within (COMPANY NAME)
* Assisting clients and supporting them with their transactional needs.
* Maintaining the (COMPANY NAME) platform and overseeing all trading aspects of it.
* Working with our Settlements, cash and customer success team to resolve trade/payment related issues.
* Collaborating with other departments such as our Technology team on automation initiatives and process improvements.
* Maintaining organised records and compiling data to assist in ad-hoc reporting requests.
* Automating manual processes with the collaboration of our team of engineers.

Who you are
* You have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or similar.
* General interest and enthusiasm for Financial Markets.
* A level of understanding of FX basics (spots, forwards, swaps, NDFs).
* Experience with MS Excel is considered a plus.

Furthermore, we are looking for the following attributes:
* Fluent English language skills; Spanish or French is considered a plus.
* Ability to work in a team.
* Ability to work accurately to deadlines, managing multiple tasks and prioritising deliverables.
* Critical thinker, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
