The mandate of the (COMPANY NAME) Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) is to promote sustainable and inclusive development and regional connectivity in the Asian and Pacific region. ESCAP's role as a regional development arm of the (COMPANY NAME) Secretariat is to support its membership with policy-oriented research and analysis, normative support and technical assistance and capacity building, to respond to the development priorities and changing needs of the Asian and Pacific region.
This internship position is situated in the Business Transformation & Change Management Unit, Division of Administration, under the supervision of a staff member in the office to which they are assigned.
Selected interns will be expected to serve for a minimum period of two months, with an opportunity of extension up to six months, depending on the needs of the Division and the availability of the selected candidate.
The internship is UNPAID and full-time.
This internship opportunity offers:

Daily responsibilities will depend on the individual's background and specific duties may include but are not limited to:
*Communicate and follow up with relevant stakeholders/parties to ensure issues are resolved;
*Perform administrative support to the team, including preparing and/or processing official documents;
*Attend and summarize meetings;
*Provide assistance during training sessions;
*Provide administrative support to ongoing projects;
*Generate a variety of standard statistical and other reports, work orders, etc, using various databases in excel and SAP. Data entry and extraction functions.;
*Additional tasks on an as-needed basis.
For this internship position, experience with MS Office (specifically Excel) is a requirement.
