Sales Force Training Manager

Based in: Istanbul
Department: Business Operations
Reports to: SF Training & Development Manager

Job Purpose
* Improve sales force organization's effectiveness by identifying & solving sales force training & development needs
* Design, develop and conduct training programs with a successful process implementation, measure & analyze delivery & results to lead to improved SF capabilities & effectiveness
* Manage training programs roll-out, associated e-learning tools/environment and the associated costs for most effective, balanced & cost-optimized training solutions

Main Responsibilities
* Identify SF training needs; develop, conduct and monitor SF training curriculum and the related processes to augment Sales Force's knowledge, skills and effectiveness in the field by closely observing needs of SF and understanding GBU/BU strategic priorities.
* Run the training calendar, coach and train SF teams and ensure quality delivery & acceptance of trainings; report SF training activities to management
* Run regular internal sales force certification processes including knowledge tests & role plays
* Coach district managers & medical reps during field visits in the light of the SF training & development curriculum
* Support to design, develop and conduct SF onboarding/induction program
* Support his/her direct manager for all sales force training domain in Sanofi and vendor management for training delivery when needed
* Work closely with sales management, HR BPs & SFE for needs' analysis & prioritization, planning & delivery of training & development programs & results/impacts monitoring
* Work with MCE for SF training needs, training development & delivery with respect to alternative channels
* Manage training delivery within the budget, support his/her manager for training expenses forecasting and realization
* Administer and manage e-Learning solutions offered to SF in the affiliate and the related operational activities
* Implement follow-up actions & feedback collection to improve course content, ways of delivery & measurement to continuously improve SF training curriculum and execution
* Work with related functions to improve the systems/tools to serve SF training & development
* Report regularly training activities, survey of satisfaction of trainees, suggest new ways to further build SF skills & capabilities
* Provide competitive intelligence in the domain of SF training & development activities to identify improvement areas
* Partner with and support HR BPs for development/assessment center exercises and SF talent management process
* Role may enlarge to cover marketing excellence training needs with a close collaboration with Marketing, HR & Business Operations partners

Required Qualifications
Education
* University graduate
Experience
* Minimum 3 years in Training and minimum 3 years in Sales & Marketing function of a reputable multi-cultural pharma organization
Knowledge and qualifications
* Proficiency in both written and spoken English to be able to effectively collaborate with a global network of SF training contacts
* Preferably Certificated on Coaching and Training delivery, design and effectiveness measurement
* Thorough knowledge of different training tools and their efficacy
* Digitally savvy with a mindset to introduce & run new training solutions
* Understanding of sales & marketing functions, processes and associated requirements of people
* Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry and competition, understanding of different diseases and therapy areas.
* Innovation and out-of-the box thinking
* Able to regularly travel to regions for field visits, coaching, identification of training needs and roll-out training programs
* Can propose alternative scenario in case of change within the business environment
