Designer - DK Licensing

The DK Licensing Division produces an extensive range of internationally recognised and best-selling titles for children and adults, based on film, comics, toys, TV and other popular culture tie-ins. We pride ourselves on creating books that offer comprehensive information presented in highly visual, beautifully designed formats, and we work with leading licensors such as Lucasfilm, LEGO, Marvel Comics, Disney and Warner Bros.

We have an exciting opportunity for a creative, enthusiastic and well-organised designer to work on our book list.

Reporting to the Design Manager, the role is ideal for someone looking to make their next step from assistant level. You will need to have book and cover design experience, along with excellent creative, digital and typographic skills. The ability to multi-task is essential as you will be working with a wide range of projects. You should also relish generating new ideas, problem solving and working as part of a team with our editorial and production colleagues.

An excellent knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator is essential, and the ability to adapt to our strict technical standards.
