Job Description

(COMPANY NAME)'s Rotational Development Program is a 24-month, entry-level rotational program. Our Rotational Development Program is designed for Bachelor's and Master's level candidates. Our program puts you on the fast track for professional and leadership opportunities throughout (COMPANY NAME).

The Rotational Development Program is composed of four rotational assignments custom designed to include work in several different technologies with our world class engineering team. The rotations will be customized for you, in the areas of autonomous, connected, and electrified. The program is designed to allow for the experience of varied work teams and environments, with the possibility of an international rotation. You will be partnered with an executive mentor to provide professional coaching and career guidance as well as a peer mentor to help guide you through the program. You will also gain leadership exposure through structured networking events and targeted training.
At completion of the 2 year rotational program, this position will be located in Plymouth, Michigan.

As a Parking Systems - Calibration/ Validation Engineer, below are the tasks you will be responsible for:
* General responsible for vehicle specific parameter application/validation in customer projects
* Support development of features, focusing on the integration and system level behavior
* Develop system behavior models to support feature development, based on vehicle / function requirements
* Perform system/system integration -level analysis.
* Participate in controls V&V activities with the systems / software development team
* Planning and execution of application related tasks (in coordination with Prj-Mgr or Sys/SW-Prj-Mgr)
* Application/Validation of parameter settings at the bumper or at the vehicle
* Pre-analysis of reported issue (defects) by customer or internal defects found during validation tests (vehicle)
* Analyzing performance issues of vehicle
* Record measurements within vehicle environment for further analysis
* Review, develop and implement Performance requirements & performance parameters
* Maintain a good information exchange with Sys/SW-Team
* Develop and execute Vehicle Tests and Validation requirements
* Responsible for Functional Verification and Validation of system performance
* Collect and analyze Measurements (e.g. CAN trace and/or CANape) together with first pre-analysis and preparation of further failure tracking.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree received within the last 1 years in one of the following majors:
* Computer Science or Engineering focus
* Knowledge of vehicles
* CAN/LIN knowledge
* First hand experience with trouble shooting embedded software
* Understanding embedded software
* Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
* Minimum of one completed internship, co-op, or six months full-time relevant work experience related to your field of study.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Geographically mobile: Candidates must be willing and able to relocate multiple times within the U.S. and potentially complete an international assignment
* Must be authorized to work in the United States - (COMPANY NAME) does not offer visa sponsorship for any of the positions under this program
Preferred Qualifications:
* MATLAB, Application Calibration, Simulations
* Participation in FIRST robotics or other robotics program
* Experience working with robotics
