We are seeking savvy, motivated Graduate Analysts to join our available roles in the Network Planning and Control team for (COMPANY NAME) Logistics (AMZL).

About the role

The goal of AMZL is to build a world-class last mile operation. (COMPANY NAME) aims to exceed the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders are delivered quickly, accurately, and in the most cost effective way possible.

We are now looking to hire passionate, dynamic, analytical, innovative, hands-on and customer-obsessed candidates to support network growth. Our Graduate Analysts within the Network Planning and Control team work to optimize network performance, finding the best trade-off between capacity, speed and cost. This requires leading projects and network initiatives, as well as forming business partnerships across a range of planning and operational AMZL teams.

You will perform a key role in the development of tools, models and processes around:

(i) Management of short- and mid-term capacity for AMZL delivery stations
(ii) Standard operations clock and shift patterns
(iii) Best operating model in terms of trade-off between cost, speed and capacity

You will also coordinate the execution of weekly capacity updates and quarterly changes for operations clock/shift patterns/operating models.

The Graduate Analyst role will own the approval from senior functional leaders to enable strategies to improve processes and performance. You will be a natural self-starter who is comfortable supporting complex cross-functional projects and action plans. You will have a true hands-on approach, the ability to generate solutions, strong process management skills, and be an effective communicator.

ˇ Recent graduate from a degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or similar discipline
ˇ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. macros, pivots, lookups, VBA)
ˇ Fluent in English, with strong written and oral communication skills
ˇ Experience in project or program management
ˇ Experience making recommendations and decisions based on complex analyses and data
ˇ Measured demonstration of problem solving and root cause analysis
ˇ Highly analytical, detail-oriented and professional business sense; proven ability to develop new ideas, creative solutions and demonstrated experience implementing such mechanisms to result
ˇ Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a progressive, ever-growing and often ambiguous environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital


ˇ Master's degree or equivalent
ˇ Proficiency in SQL/ETL
ˇ Experience within a network planning or logistics/operations management role
ˇ Experience leading and interacting with cross-functional teams with strong stakeholder management
ˇ Previous work experience - a summer job, internship; if it's an experience in a related field or business, even better
