The (COMPANY NAME) Commercial Procurement organisation manages commercial and contractual agreements with (COMPANY NAME) suppliers across a global supply base. You will join the Equipment and Systems Procurement team who is responsible for the procurement of complex, high value landing gear structures and systems equipment for (COMPANY NAME) commercial aircraft. It is our responsibility to negotiate optimal contractual terms and ensure suppliers follow these contractual agreements to support on Quality, Delivery and Cost performance. We are looking for two dynamic and enthusiastic interns to join our teams for 12 months placement.
During this internship, the activities you may undertake will include:
* Work with a range of team members within the Multi-Functional Team (MFT) including Programme, Engineering, Finance and Supply Chain to understand the business needs.
* Supporting supplier negotiations following business targets.
* Prepare and negotiate contract amendments and supplier claims.
* Supporting cost reduction and optimisation projects.
* Support risk and opportunity management.
* Support the MFT leaders in managing the monthly MFT meetings and co-ordinate the actions from these meetings.
