YOUR MISSION / KEY RESPONSABILITIES
* To organize and ensure the smooth running of the daily operations in Reception and
F&B;
* To coordinate and supervise the reception and F&B activities and coordinate with the
housekeeping and maintenance department when needed;
* To be readily available for the team and hotel guests, and work with the General
Manager to ensure a high level of quality for all services;
* To create a relationship with the guest throughout their stay, by being readily available
and coming up with a solution to all their needs, thus gaining their loyalty;
* To handle any complaints by finding suitable solutions;
* To oversee the quality of the hotel's services and performance through guest comments
from the VOG;
* To convey the brand's spirit among the guests;
* To take responsibility for the Accommodation and/or Restaurant services on offer
through the implementation of service standards;
* To integrate, train and lead the reception and restaurant team;
* Managerial responsibility over all of the team under your authority;
* To facilitate the development of their staff by helping to bring out the best in them and by
supporting them in their career development;
* To participate in the recruitment and integration of new employees;
* To carry out annual appraisal interviews;
* To participate in putting together the hotel's training plan;
* To contribute to team spirit and openness and maintaining a good working atmosphere
through hands-on management;
* To draw up the employees work schedules, ensuring that is organized in relation to the
hotel's activity and in line with local regulations;
* Responsible for applying the current labor laws;
* Responsible for placing orders with referenced suppliers and manages purchasing for
optimum efficiency in compliance with pre-defined ratios;
* Responsible for "End of Month closures/reports";
* Responsible for controlling and approving invoices;
* To check daily night auditor reports/envelop;
* To check daily banking;
* Responsible for City Ledger;
* To carry out inventories in compliance with administrative and financial procedures;
* To assist the General Manager in administrative tasks and elements relating to staff
management;
* To contribute to the safety of people and belongings by anticipating and preventing
risks;
* To oversee the application of health and safety rules;
* To participate in the elaboration of the hotel's sales and marketing plan;
* To optimize the revenue and occupancy of the hotel;
*To initiate new projects and oversee their implementation and results;
* To assist the General Manager in his role of leader, manager, administrator and
salesman;
* To replace the General Manager when he/she is not on site;
*May be expected to carry out one or more cross-functional missions for the region or network.

Work Experience

* Hospitality experience;
*Good interpersonal skills, guest oriented and service minded
* Team spirit
* Good listening skills and ability to anticipate
* Good presentation and confident speaking skills
* Dynamic
* Sales oriented
* Vocational qualification or diploma in hospitality - food & beverage and/or any initial training
* Good knowledge of Windows
* Fluent in the local language; business English
