What you can expect over the summer:
The (COMPANY NAME) Communications Internship aims to provide a well-rounded experience through a variety of assignments involving various components of the company's day-to-day communication function. Each Communications intern will support either Corporate Communications, Frito-Lay North America Communications or (COMPANY NAME) Beverages North America Communications.
Responsibilities may include:
* Write and edit communications for a variety of internal and external audiences and channels, including press, social media and employees
* Support communications efforts through research and analysis assignments
* Monitor media coverage and analyze stories for tone, messaging and company/brand positioning
* Support internal employee events, such as leadership meetings, Town Hall meetings, etc.
* Support the team's measurement and reporting of communications efforts
* Track employee volunteer hours and support local community relations efforts
* Complete a long-term project assignment that requires research and planning and present final project to communications team at completion of internship; and/ or, help team lead the seasonal news bureau plan working with external agency
* Support digital communications team with social media content strategy and community management across all owned channels

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications - Each candidate is expected to:
* Currently enrolled at a University and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or similar field.
* Graduate with Bachelor's degree within one (1) year of internship completion.
* Have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Please include on your resume.
* This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
