(COMPANY NAME)'s Risk Analytics team is looking for a curious and action-oriented analyst intern with a passion for protecting consumers from fraudulent communications. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating complex problems, determining the right data to focus on and able to derive insights and recommendations based on data. This role interacts with stakeholders throughout the organization in helping inform product, risk, and operations strategy.

* Are on track to receive a undergraduate or Master's Degree
* Have experience building reports, metrics, dashboards, etc. for data analytics projects
* Are comfortable working with SQL, relational, and unstructured data
* Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience performing root cause analysis
You will have opportunities to collaborate with the Fraud, Risk Platform and Compliance teams. You will get to use data to identify and reduce fraud on the (COMPANY NAME) platform while informing business plans by:
* BE AN OWNER: Identifying, quantifying, and communicating current and emerging fraud trends
* DRAW THE OWL: Producing dashboards and metrics to inform business and product decisions
* EMPOWER OTHERS: Working closely with the operations team to identify opportunities for improving the quality of investigations
* WRITE IT DOWN: Documenting data structures and making recommendations for improving the quality of data

Standard P1 Hourly Rate for Intern - $31/hr
