The internship position is located in the Office of the Director for Coordination and Shared Services (ODCSS) for the Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs and the Department of Peace Operations (DPPA-DPO). The internship is for a period of 3 months with the possibility of extension, depending on the needs of the department. ODCSS enables, directs and coordinates departmental efforts to ensure the effective integration and management across the peace and security pillar. The internship is unpaid and full-time. Interns work five days per week (35 hours) under the supervision of a staff member in ODCSS.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Implementing activities in accordance with the DPPA-DPO action plan on staff engagement, including the MyCareer initiative, the Gender Parity Action Plan and the Disability Inclusion Action Plan
- Collecting, analyzing and visualizing quantitative and qualitative information
- Updating online information related to staff engagement activities
- Supporting change management initiatives
- Coordinating and assisting with specific events
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

We seek candidates with relevant coursework in data analysis, web development, strategic design and management, marketing, information design, public relations or data visualization. Experience working on staff engagement and human resources programmes is an advantage.
