We are looking for a DevSecOps Software Engineering Intern with a strong background in software to join the DevSecOps Infrastructure team. Part of a team that is responsible for designing, implementing, deploying and maintaining framework & tools for successful testing of Collins Aerospace products. You will be involved developing tools in python and other scripting languages in enhancing the development & test infrastructure and automating the DevSecOps processes. You will have a view of the full DevSecOps system. This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, and will run May/June-August; it is only eligible for current students with a graduation date past August 2023.
Primary ​Responsibilities
* Provide automation solutions for the DevSecOps processes
* Support, enhance and maintain existing infrastructure tools
* Writing specs, documentation for tool development & user guides

Basic Qualifications
* Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
* Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in python
* Experience in shell scripting
* Knowledge of Java/C#/C++/
* Excellent debugging skills
* Knowledge of DevSecOps tools like Jenkin, Git
* Strong verbal and written communication

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
