The Role
The Manufacturing Department is essential for producing and supplying cellular therapy products to patients globally. The department uses a variety of techniques and equipment to bring life-saving products to patients. The department works closely with Process Development, Quality Control and Quality Assurance to manufacture these products while complying with all GMP regulations.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Complying with regulatory and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to manufacture cell therapies
* Communicating updates with the Manufacturing team on progress of projects
* Assisting the Manufacturing team by preparing equipment for use in the manufacturing process
* Shadowing and learning the procedures involved in the manufacturing
* Collaborating with Manufacturing Technical Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Control, Quality Assurance and other departments to support departmental needs.
* Write/review documents such as protocols, standard operating procedures, memos, etc.
* Providing support for maintaining inventory, equipment, and processing preparation
* Performing data entry, filing, and other office duties as necessary
The Candidate
In order to be eligible for an internship at (COMPANY NAME), you must meet the following requirements:
* Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
* Must be an undergraduate/graduate student in Science, Engineering or related field of study
* Eligible to legally work in the United States
* Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) for a 10-12-week period over the summer
