This summer you could have the opportunity to help drive the brand vision for Levi's! Our San Francisco-based Summer Internship opportunities give students real world work experience and exposure to one of the world's leading fashion and apparel companies. Our 10 week Summer Internship Program is the perfect way to gain work experience within the core of the organization, while learning what a career at LS&Co. might have in store for you.
We are looking for a talented MBA with a passion for apparel to join our Global Brand Strategy team. With COVID changing dynamics in the industry, the Levi's brand organization is setting the vision for the future and key opportunities for growth. We need thought partnership and strategy support to transform this vision into actionable strategy. We are looking for a dynamic, high performing individual with a passion for retail and brand building to join our team this summer.
In addition to day-to-day responsibilities, all interns will participate in an intern group project dedicated to a critical business initiative as well as be exposed to all areas of our business and our brands. Leadership seminars and career exploration series connect our interns to our leaders and educate around different career paths.
Your primary responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
* Develop a growth strategy for one of Levi's priorities. Potential examples include category growth opportunities, sustainability strategy, recommerce, & brand experience.
* Perform a market opportunity assessment (market analysis and opportunity sizing, competitive assessment, consumer trends analysis, etc) to identify insights to inform the strategy
* Assess the current state of our business and brand in the category to identify opportunities
* Partner cross functionally with senior executives across Merchandising, Marketing, Design, Supply Chain, Operations and Finance to develop the long-term growth strategy
* Outline strategic framework and materials to socialize with organization
* Perform ad hoc quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform our global brand strategies, leveraging insights across all aspects of the business and marketplace (consumer, market, competitive, brand, channel, etc.)

* Perform a category market opportunity assessment (market analysis and opportunity sizing, competitive assessment, consumer trends analysis, etc.), identifying insights to inform the strategy
* Assess the current state of our business and brand in the category
* Partner cross functionally with senior executives across Merchandising, Marketing, Design, Supply Chain, Operations and Finance to develop the long term growth strategy
* Outline strategic framework and materials to socialize with organization
* Perform ad hoc quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform our global brand strategies, leveraging insights across all aspects of the business and marketplace (consumer, market, competitive, brand, channel, etc.)
* Perform analysis and develop strategic recommendations to inform our approach to Global Brands portfolio management
Requirements for the Internship:
* Bachelor's Degree, 4+ years pre-MBA work experience
* Currently enrolled full-time in a MBA program
* Passion for brand management and brand building
* High proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
Additional Qualifications:
* Strong verbal and written communication skills; detail oriented and thorough; experience creating content for executive-level audiences
* Strong project management and analytical skills
* Ability to understand, integrate and synthesize primary and secondary data to form insightful observations and clear, actionable brand and business implications
* Flexibility and the ability to adapt to meet new requirements and a dynamic job environment
* Management consulting or retail experience is a plus
