The selected intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on marketing and communications experience. This internship is perfect for someone who is passionate about media and is preparing for an exciting career in marketing and communications.

The Consumer Marketing Intern will join a small but mighty team looking to drive acquisition, engagement, subscriptions, and retention across all stages of the listener lifecycle. The ideal candidate has a passion for audio, and media in general, with a desire to learn all areas of marketing.



What You Will Do:

* Managing end-to-end ownership of a marketing & communications plan

* Managing the execution of engagement strategies at key points across owned channels, including but not limited to: in-app, push, email, social and voice

* Support PR efforts, including press releases

* Participate in marketing and communications planning sessions with the team as well as content and distribution partners

* Leveraging data insights to inform marketing campaign strategies

* Defining a plan to scale long-term editorial and lifecycle campaigns

* Collaborating with a number of cross-functional teams including Content, Analytics, Content Operations, Sales, Design, Product and Engineering.

What We Are Looking For:

* Media enthusiast with a passion for marketing - regular consumer of all types of media, ideally, with an understanding of the streaming media landscape

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment with excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills

* An interest in gaining a background across a variety of areas of the marketing and communications discipline including PR, content, lifecycle, and growth marketing

* A data-driven and analytical mindset. Interest in monitoring performance and uncovering insights to build campaign strategies

* Expressive written and verbal communications with a knack for clear articulation of customer problems.
