Department Overview

The Mercedes-Benz USA Vans Marketing, Business Intelligence and Product Management area is responsible for developing the strategies and programs to support the sales and ownership growth for Vans products and services. Our team works closely with headquarters in Germany to establish future product offerings and then successfully bring them to market with excellent marketing campaigns and collaboration from our Business Intelligence division.

Job Overview

The Mercedes-Benz Vans division is seeking a STAR intern to support in the areas of Product Management, Business Intelligence and Marketing Communications. This individual will be working on a variety of projects across both departments, supporting 8-10 FTEs. Possible project types include: product update documents, internal and external communications, marketing campaigns and event planning, etc.

Responsibilities:
* Proofing and editing communication materials

* Expansion and development of the Mercedes-Benz USA Vans Customer Journey Map

* Assisting with project planning for all three departments

* Managing the marketing sponsorship proposal and submission database

* Supporting documentation of internal processes and record keeping

Qualifikationen

Qualifications / Education:

To qualify for this internship opportunity, you must be a rising junior or rising senior enrolled in a Bachelor's program.

Preferred concentration of study:
* Marketing
* Communications
* Project Management

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Excellent Microsoft Office suite skills - particularly PowerPoint and Excel

* Proficient attention to detail - for support with editing communications materials

* Muti-tasking while prioritizing efficiently

* Eager to collaborate with multiple stakeholders at a time

Additional Information

During this 8.5-week summer internship, you will be required to work onsite 4 days a week at our Sandy Springs, GA headquarters.
