We offer a unique perspective into the world of food manufacturing with a maximum 12-week paid internship in our Foodservice group in Northbrook, IL. As a key player on the Sales and Marketing Team the Foodservice Intern will have the opportunity to experience a hybrid, cross-functional role, while learning about the B2B sales process and marketing strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

* Learn and experience the B2B sales process (work with FSV Distributors, Operators, and Broker sales force)

* Assist in coordinating and attend 1-2 Foodservice industry trade shows

* Assist team with business/category reviews

* Assess effectiveness of FSV marketing tactics and programs

* Assist in the planning and launch of National Pasta Month 2022

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

* Completed Junior year of college with a concentration in Marketing, Sales or related field

* Strong analytical and negotiation skills

* Able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment

* Able to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms with people at all levels

* Ability to speak publicly and make presentations to groups of various sizes

* Strong organizational skills

* Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
