SCIB Argentina is looking for a Structured Finance Associate based out of Buenos Aires.

The Argentine Structured Finance Team is at the forefront of the origination and execution activities covering mainly the Infrastructure and Energy spaces across Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay.

The team identifies this Associate role as a key position within a group of professionals dedicated to unlock new and complex opportunities in Argentina and the region, levering on the unparalleled global experience, client relationships and know-how that has been built over the last years.

Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrate initiative, and have the judgment and confidence to work independently with clients and colleagues.

The candidate must possess a strong desire to support the growing finance and business development efforts.

*  Helping senior members of the team execute business opportunities mainly in the Infrastructure and Energy sectors.
*  Supporting both the lending and debt advisory segments of the business, including strategic planning, marketing, client engagement, and coordination with external advisors and partners.
*  Proactively participating in business origination activities and preparation of top-quality marketing and internal materials, both from a content and visual perspective.
*  Developing and operating complex financial models, ensuring they accurately reflect transaction terms and due diligence, running sensitivity analysis, and adjusting as deals evolve.
*  Designing new value-added solutions, as the team progresses providing more complex structures.
*  Supporting the end-to-end execution of new and existing mandates across lending and advisory:
*  Advisory: Assist in structuring and placing debt financings, including financial modelling, coordination of due diligence providers and legal advisors, preparation of marketing materials (teasers, information memorandum), and overall process management.
*  Lending: Assist in pitching and structuring financing solutions, review due diligence materials, financial models and documentation, participate in negotiations with clients and their advisors, and support presentations to internal credit and pricing committees.
*  Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients at work level.
*  Stay abreast of market dynamics and regulatory developments in the infrastructure and energy sectors.
*  Promote teamwork and contribute to the development and mentoring of junior team members.

What You'll Bring

The following requirements represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities essential for success in this role.

Professional Experience
*  At least 3 years in advisory and/or lending of structured and/or corporate finance transactions. (Required)
*  Deep knowledge in the Infrastructure and Energy sectors. (Required)
*  Solid understanding of legal frameworks and documentation typical in non-recourse project finance. (Required)

Education
*  Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Engineering. (Required)

Languages
*  Mandatory: English & Spanish (Full professional proficiency). (Required).
*  Portuguese (Preferred)

Hard Skills
*  Sector knowledge in Infrastructure and Energy. (Required)
*  Financial modeling and credit analysis. (Required)
*  Solid structured and corporate finance fundamentals, with special focus on cash flow analysis, financing products and different debt structures (senior, holdco /subordinated financings). (Required)
*  Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills. (Required)
*  Strong interdisciplinary skills covering financing, accounting, financial modelling, due diligence, and documentation. (Required)

Soft Skills
*  Communication and organizational skills.
*  Proactivity and creativity. Ability to take initiatives and propose solutions.
*  High degree of commitment in a very demanding environment.
