In AWS Account Management team, we operate at scale the main Account structures, needed to facilitate Customer provisioning use-cases - starting from constant account availability, through deployment readiness for multiple business use-cases, to cost optimizations and security.

It is a dynamic area, in which our team has direct (COMPANY NAME) revenue impact, drives customer-facing features, works on variety of AWS integrations, develops solutions in a state-of-the-art SaaS Platform and has E2E ownership of our services lifecycle.

What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months

You will be part of a distributed team, software engineers, architects, data analysts and product managers, each having a concrete role in the business processes we develop and facilitate.

* Withing 30 days of employment: you will have an onboarding team member assigned to help you prepare a personalized training plan. This person will be there to answer any questions you may have and guide your training. During the onboarding process you will get a high-level overview of AWS Account Management services portfolio.

* Withing 90 days of employment: you will get familiar with a concrete problem domain area, supported workflows and operations, and different sub-teams that own different steps in them. You will also be introduced to the automated services ecosystem and software development tools, so that you contribute to an active project.

* Within 180 days of employment: you will actively design, develop, deploy, operate and improve the services in your domain area. You will work closely with Engineering and Product Management teams and get exposure to the engineering team portfolio and business needs behind it.

* Within 360 days of employment: you will be fluent with AWS Account Management services and will become an owner of a concrete project, driving the processes for requirements gathering, architecture design, delivery planning, development, release and support.

What assignments will you be performing on a regular basis

* Gather requirements and transform them to technical assignments, working closely with Engineering and PM teams
* Design, develop and test high quality, cloud-based, distributed services using Java and Spring Boot

* Build, Deploy and operate the services using Docker, Kubernetes and internal logging/monitoring tools
* Perform code reviews, provide guidance and lead technical discussions within the team
