At our headquarters in Hamburg, the Neurodegeneration Department is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated

Research Assistant (f/m/d) - Neurodegeneration Assays
Full-time and Permanent

Your Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and optimize immuno-assays
* Develop and implement biochemical & cellular assays in microtiter plate format on various technology platforms
* Perform small molecule screening and profiling in bespoke assays
* Manage project demands ensuring quality and timely delivery of data which requires cross-functional teamwork
* Plan experiments and analyze results independently
* Document experiments in electronic notebook

Your Ideal Qualification:
* Successfully completed apprenticeship as "Biologisch-technische/r Assistent/in" (BTA) or a bachelor's/ master's degree in the field of Life Sciences
* Substantial hands-on experience and understanding of immunoassay technologies (e.g. TR-FRET, ELISA, MSD and Singulex)
* Experience in mammalian cell culture, transfection and standard biochemical & cellular assays (e.g. western blotting, immunoprecipitation and reporter assays)
* Dynamic personality with high levels of drive, enthusiasm and commitment and ability to cope with pressure
* Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and in cross-functional teams with a wide degree of autonomy and independence
* Work experience in a Pharma, Biotech, or a CRO setting is of advantage.
* Fluency in written and spoken English, German is of advantage
