Job Description:
Role Purpose:
The purpose of the role is to plan and conduct field audits of truck drivers and maintain all the relevant records and reports of the audits conducted.
Minimum Education Requirement:
Graduate in Science/commerce or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Automobile Engineering.
Experience (In Years):
4-5 experience in Transport/Logistic.
Key Skills Required:
Communication skills to engage with team and other stakeholders.
Attention to detail to achieve thoroughness and accuracy for accomplishing any assigned task.
Knowledge of field supervision of drivers and vehicles.
Knowledge of driver hiring process and documentation.
Basic knowledge of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks / Activities:
Receive driver service hours data from internal transport department and review it for its accuracy.
Identify and coordinate with maintenance vendors to assure preventive maintenance (PM) compliance.
Review accident / near miss file contents for accuracy, identify if any documents are needed for further processing and update all the relevant stakeholders to provide the documents.
Update all accident / near miss incidents in the system from the register maintained by the drivers / helpers.
Ensure that all drivers and helpers go through job site training on safety measures.
Maintain a proper record of all the training conducted along with the signatures of trainees as acknowledgement.
Participate in Safety & Parivartan activities; provide support wherever required for implementation of initiatives.
Co-ordinate with other departments, third party vendors and management to ensure smooth information flow to ensure that operations are carried out and any emergencies, challenges, issues are resolved without any losses being incurred
