About The Position

The mission for the Solutions Engineering team is to support quality ACV growth within Enterprise accounts. Solutions Engineers are required to bring broad Marketing, Industry and Cloud Computing expertise to drive quality ACV growth by helping customers and prospects experience a vision of 1 to 1 customer marketing. This is done detailing omni-channel experiences and cross cloud conveniences that transform their customers experience. Solutions Engineers design, create and position these visions for C-Level Executives.

The Manager of the Solutions Engineering team will manage a team of Solutions Engineers dedicated to providing Marketing expertise in pursuit of sales opportunities involving Marketing Cloud solutions and customer success. The Manager will be responsible for the day to day management of personnel activities, mentorship and development of each team member, as well as coaching and building a prosperous environment for the entire team that centres on customer success and growth.

A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape, selling into Enterprise accounts, and an aptitude for leading a team of highly skilled Solutions Engineers to achieve their highest potential.


* Recruiting, interviewing and hiring new team members.
* Managing and leading based on team metrics, data and facts.
* Assuring team goals and projects priorities align with the leadership's vision for the Solutions Engineering organization.
* Provide consistent and timely quarterly Business Reviews to leadership supported by data and tangible metrics.
* Interpret and anticipate strategic business needs while making adjustments in real time to ensure consistent growth and success.
* Ensuring adherence and completion of the onboarding program for new hires.
* Providing enablement for new and existing team members to cover gaps in product knowledge.
* Providing mentorship and career planning to ensure development and personal success of each Solution Engineer on the team.
* Introducing and driving adoption of digital marketing disciplines, trends & latest
* technologies.
* Developing strong relationships and synergies with sales management and quota bearing sales personnel.
* Developing strong relationships and synergies with Sales and SE Leadership across the (COMPANY NAME) core business units as well as Marketing Cloud
* Attending customer meetings to help develop team members skill sets and establish customer relationships to help drive their success.


* Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or other Technical Discipline.
* Strong track record of successfully selling digital marketing solutions or related customer centric Retail industry solutions.
*Experience of Solutions Engineering or Pre-Sales Management
* Experience working within (COMPANY NAME) CRM Systems to manage the business.
* Experience and proven success in leading remote teams to success.
* Experience recruiting, interviewing and hiring Solutions Engineers/Pre-Sales personnel.
* Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with an ability to create high-energy, high-performance teams.
* Deep knowledge and understanding of Sales best practices.
* Experience in producing management business reports to highlight the state of the business to prove challenges and justify needs.
* Experience and comfort delivering presentations and demonstrations to C-Level Executives and technical audiences.
* Practical experience scoping, managing and implementing digital marketing solutions or complex enterprise framework solutions.
* Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or other Technical Discipline.
