Job Description:

* Daily review of trades executed for funds, which includes a variety of products such as Global and Emerging Markets Fixed Income, Equities, Futures, listed options, and OTC derivatives
* Perform post trade matching process via vendor applications
* Support collateral management workflow
* Interact with custodian banks for trade notification as well as portfolio administration related functions. Resolve trade discrepancies with banks/brokers including Trade and Position Query management and resolution
* Perform additional daily position and transaction exception review
* Perform month end attestation reporting for pending risk such as fails, trade error and aged reconciliation items
* Work with all functional areas and ensure brokers & Counterparties are set up or de-activated in a timely fashion
* Able to act as the key point of contact for internal clients (Portfolio Managers, Trading, Team Head, Managing Director and other functional areas within the firm) as well as external clients (custodian banks, Counterparties, broker dealers, auditors and underlying clients) for all operational related topics

Candidate Requirements:

This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

Profile

* Academic background preferably in Accounting & Finance, Economics or comparable studies;
* Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills
* Initial knowledge and understanding of derivatives and equity products with a strong focus on FX and Derivatives
* Demonstrable risk and controls awareness and ability to apply this to the operating environment
* Preferable initial system knowledge - E.g. Bloomberg, Reuters
* Advance computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office products
* Self-starter, ability to implement tasks and projects with minimal supervision
* Team player who fosters team spirit in a global setting
* Language preferences French, English or German
