What we are looking for :

We are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to identify, craft and qualify new deals typically in the value of EUR10-50m across the transport and logistics sector.

This role is independent of service line, candidates must be able to identify, shape and qualify multi-service deals across the whole (COMPANY NAME) portfolio including analytics, digital, managed services/ITO, BPO, consultancy, and cloud.

The ideal candidate will have a 60/40 skill split. Where 60% is a background of high value solution & services sales in ITO, EUC and BPO with the remaining 40% being in-depth focus market background and understanding.



* To understand and articulate customer's key business objectives and challenges and while knowing how to match our solutions required to support objectives and solve challenges at C level to win business

* To translate business requirements into proposals, and to translate complicated IT issues & solutions back into the business language of the client

* Assemble and lead teams inside (COMPANY NAME) to help you win opportunity engaging people and demonstrating depth and capability in (COMPANY NAME)

Commercial acuity

* Be accountable for developing business in territory and achieve or exceed set targets

* Competent ability of selling ITO, BPO, Professional Services (individuals), solutions (e.g. applications management, ran technical services) and software led services, into large client organisations

* Building and managing pipeline

* Qualified an opportunity in or out early in the sales process to minimize wasting resources including time and money and focusing on what delivers the best value to (COMPANY NAME) and client

Winning mentality

* Adopt and be proficient at using standard tools and methodology of sales community to develop new business

* Focus on capacitate each opportunity continually from moment of discovery and work with peers to agree what should be pursued or dropped

* Settle sales opportunity optimally and work well with service lines closely to build relevant solutions promptly

* Build clear win plans including marketing to close opportunity

* Seek coaching and mentoring from your peers and actively request field sales accompaniment

Strategic planning

* To forecast accurately and on a timely basis through the Rainbow and CRM process

* To understand competitive environment and put strategy in place that out manoeuvres competition

* Take Service Line Leadership team and presales organisation out to see clients early in the sales cycle, so they can support you, gain good understanding of client requirements, build winning solutions and help you to qualify opportunity before it gets to pursuit phase.

* Identify, qualify and develop strategic business with long sales cycles and sophisticated partner maps

Opportunity creation

* Creation, identification, and development of key opportunities

* To articulate a strategic Partner/Alliance strategy and apply it to develop incremental business with the right partners on each opportunity to deliver incremental revenue

* Crafting, identifying, recognizing and leading sales / solution growth opportunities across the territory

* Improvement of the sales opportunity by ensuring that (COMPANY NAME) full capability is deployed; design, build, operate and aligned to the relevant sector;

Improve brand

* To actively pursue references from closed opportunities cooperating with marketing to develop case studies

Core competence and behavior required:

* Focused in approach to winning to make it a repeatable formula

* Competent in producing detailed proposals and written reports

* Competent in preparing and delivering winning presentations and innovative solutions

* A shown knowledge of IT Solutions for business benefit

* Understanding of customer's core values and application of (COMPANY NAME) core values

* To deliver solutions that increase customer satisfaction and investment in (COMPANY NAME) and handle internal and external partners efficiently

* Ability to continually build trust, sustain it and empower people internally and externally

* Broad view of industry
