The mission:
The Warehouse Operations Manager will coordinating the activities of the operators and the operations team at the site, will supervise, manage and coordinate all functional activities related to warehouse management and orders preparation, while monitoring the quality and efficiency of operations and promoting continuous improvement
The journey:
* Management of stock allocation in the warehouse, defining the product location map and monitoring the stock inbound process.
* Management of stock inventory activities to maintain physical/accounting stock alignment
* Management of orders preparation flow, including order reception from ERP systems, orders activation, follow up of warehouse operators activities, orders completion for dispatch
* Management of production and plant parameters in the Warehouse Management System software
* Optimization of production process, acting for resolution of potential problems arising during the activity, with the aim of complying with expected preparation time schedule and ensuring productivity efficiency
* Monitoring of quality and performance of operations processes, with the analysis of defined warehouse KPIs and, if needed, proposing new ones, with the aim of having a regular view on the site performances and service quality
* Daily check of operational activities, to identify possible gaps with expected flows or improvement actions
The specifications:
* Experience in similar duties in structured logistics warehouses for at least +5-7 years
* Experience in team management and leadership and coordination roles for at least +3-5 years
* Background in similar positions in complex organizations and multinational settings or from major Accounting Firms
* Master's degree in Engineering or scientific field
* English (Proficiency)
* Dutch (Desirable)
* Office suite, specially Excel
* Familiarity with SAP and with WMS softwares will be considered a plus
* Knowledge of data analysis tools is a plus
* Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Operational Excellence is a plus
